Consultation, History and Physical Examination
Next, you will have a consultation with Dr. Randy Schulman to discuss your chiropractic concerns. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Schulman to learn more about you, your condition and  expectations to determine how chiropractic care can fill your needs.

After your consultation, Dr. Schulman will perform a complete chiropractic examination including standard neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical tests. However, nothing  will be done in our office  without your consent.

Diagnostic Studies (if needed)
Depending on your specific condition, Dr. Schulman may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you. The purpose of the X-rays is to study the condition of the bony anatomy and soft tissues. It also helps Dr. Schulman understand the extent of wear, any anomalies in your spine, and other factors that will guide the development of the treatment plan.

Chiropractic Treatment
After Dr. Schulman has reviewed your history, completed the consultation and examination, you will experience several forms of chiropractic treatments (if needed). These may include spinal adjustments and various forms of physical therapy.

Report of Findings
Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will give you a report of findings and make recommendations for treatment.

Instructions for Activities at Home
When you have completed all of the treatment, Dr. Schulman will discuss with you his recommendations for home care until your next appointment. These recommendations may include applying ice and heat and gentle stretching.

Follow-up Visits
Dr. Schulman always discusses a follow-up treatment plan. He usually will recommend that you are seen within 1-2 days.
